Simon Weisenthal was a really important person, in World War ll he was a hero for the Jews and a sworn enemy of the Nazi's. He was born on December 31,1908, in Buczacz. Mrs. Wiesenthal moved Simon and his family to Vienna for a brief period when his father died in World War l. In 1936 he married a woman named Cyla Mueller they lived a good life until 1939 when Russia tried to occupy Lvov a country were they both lived. That is what was starting the war Simon later found out that his stepfather was encarcerated and found dead in prison. His stepbrother was shot. He had to close his bussiness and become a mechanic in a bedspring factory. Then he saved himself, his wife, and his mother from deportation to Siberia by bribing a NKVD commissar. When the Russians were displaced by the Germans in 1941, a former employee of his helped him escape execution by the Nazis but he couldnt help him escpace incarceration he and his wife were assigned to the force labor camp serving the ostbahn works, the repair shop for lvov's eastern railroad.

Simon Wiesenthal was a hero a bussiness man and a hard worker. He was a courageous man and Conscientious,tenacious person. He was a war criminal hunter and was instrumental. He was courageous because he had the courage to go all over the world to find Nazis. Simon was conscientous because he thought much of his fellow man. Simon Weinsenthal was tenacious in looking for Nazis. The Holocoust, His father getting killed in World War 1, getting married, having 82 of his relatives getting killed. He overcame obstacles because he lost his bussiness, lost many relatives,survived the Holocoust and far too many more to elaborate. He did take risk by stating a bussiness and trking down Nazis all over the world. He must of gotten lucky on one time or another finding materials during his nazis war criminal searches.

Simon was a person to be remembered because he was a really respected person and is a really known person all over the world.This world would be a more dangerous place if he hadnt existed because there would be a lot of Nazi people in the world and the world would suffer more tragedies and there would be a lot more crime in the world and more racial activity. We can learn that he was a brave man and didnt give up hope like when his freind helped him escape execution and when he bribed the commisary to let him and his wife go and when the underground soldiers helped him escape the camp.
